Thinking about installing garage doors, why settle for the ordinary when you can have the extraordinary? I recently completed a renovation and wanted to install carriage garage doors. After all, they are the first thing you see when you drive up to someone's house. Little did I know the cost would be way out of my budget. My architect recommended Whitaker Doors. He said they could deliver just what I wanted for a fraction of the cost others had quoted. Why? Because they us a novel technique that builds upon an ordinary garage door by seamlessly crafting a very thick layer of mahogany, or other wood if you prefer, in a carriage door design. They finish it off with iron hardware and you end up with a door that looks and operates like any of the custom doors I had looked at. What's more, they provided me the flexibility to have as many little windows on the upper pane as I wanted, just like the expensive doors I couldn't afford. So, in the end, I got exactly what I wanted for HALF the price. I can't say enough about their superior craftsmanship, attention to detail and ready to please attitude. They use skilled mechanics and are only happy to make any necessary adjustments you may require after the fact... and that is unusual. This was the easiest part of my renovation. Try them, you won't be disappointed. Jane Mount Kisco, NY
